The name of this organization is “The World Organization for the Right of the People to Health Care” Inc. (WORPHC). Philosophically, this organization operates with original and natural democratic processes, autonomously, humanitarianly, educationally and with the exchange of unions.
WORPHC is a non-profit organization founded in 2002, dedicated to promote an agenda of international exchange in the area of public health from a union perspective.
Our goal is to create an national and international coalition for the Right of the People:
- To Health Care
- To study and evaluate social security and health laws
- To analyze the politics and recommendations of the International Financial Fund, the World Bank, and their impact upon the health care sector
- To strengthen the organizational process and the unity of unions and social organizations,
- To facilitate the relations between the unions and the social organizations
- To facilitate the relationships between the unions and social organizations in Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States of America and Canada.
